Braden Barton
Writer/Director
Raised amidst the cornfields of rural Illinois, Braden Barton brings a touch of the unexpected to his films. Quirk, drama, and action are all genres he enjoys dabbling within, however his preference is to create a ménage à trois of all three.
After his tragi-comedy film, “Waltz of the Angels,” won Best Sci-Fi at the Academy Award-qualifying Hollyshorts Film Festival in 2022, Braden signed with Circle M+P where he's currently in pre-production on his debut feature, “Blue Horizon," and early development of his follow-up feature, “Ashes."
Although he's passionate about making films that are musically charged and high in style, he also has a love for filmmaking that is grounded in reality, thus making him a multi-faceted asset. If there was one theme that describes what Braden hopes to achieve with his career, it's that he’s trying to bottle up emotional chaos one project at a time.
